These four elements describe a bit about how we work, why we work, who we are, and what we’re trying to do. It’s important to be as clear as possible with teams on what’s expected and what everyone is striving for. I wrote this to create alignment and transparency for my team.
This presentation can be used as a handbook to check in on your own actions and see if you’re living the best practices that we are all striving for. I start by laying out some detail around each of the four elements and also include a detailed description of “what good looks like” for each element.
At the end you can also see a few “questions to expect during your review.” This makes it very concrete for team members trying to figure out how to put the guidelines offered here into practice.
